OUR ADVANTAGES
What Families Find Different Here
Estate matters are rarely straightforward, and they often arrive at the worst possible time. We have built our practice around making that experience a little easier to bear.
Back to HomeCore Advantages
The things that shape how we work, and why they matter to families dealing with estate matters.
Qualified Legal Team
All practitioners hold active Malaysian Bar certificates. We do not use unqualified support staff for legal work.
Plain Language Always
Legal documents and advice are explained in everyday language. We do not rely on jargon to give the impression of complexity.
Fees Set Out Upfront
Before any work begins, we provide a written fee breakdown. Clients are never charged for anything they have not agreed to.
No Pressure to Decide
We are comfortable giving advice at the initial meeting without an obligation to engage us. Families decide when they are ready.
Civil and Faraid Experience
We understand both frameworks and can advise on how civil distribution rules and faraid principles interact in your estate.
Written Updates Throughout
Families are kept informed in writing at each stage. You will never have to chase us to find out where things stand.
Professional Expertise
Our lawyers have worked in estate and inheritance law for over a decade. The work covers a wide range: from drafting straightforward wills for working families, to untangling complex multi-property estates with beneficiaries across different states.
- Malaysian Bar certified practitioners
- Civil and faraid estate matters
- Court filings and probate applications handled in-house
Note on faraid estates
Muslim estate distribution in Malaysia is a specialist area. We explain clearly how faraid shares apply to the estate, and where a will can still be useful alongside the faraid framework.
What clients notice
Most clients say that what stands out is being able to ask the same question more than once without feeling they are wasting our time. We consider that a basic standard, not a selling point — but it seems to matter.
Client Service
Inheritance matters are almost always emotional. We take that into account in how we communicate — not just in what we say, but in how quickly we respond and how we handle difficult conversations between family members.
- One working day response to all enquiries
- Written case updates at each milestone
- Available in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Value and Pricing
We keep our fees straightforward. Will preparation from RM 190, letters of administration from RM 615, and dispute support from RM 400. These are set fees for defined services — not open-ended retainers with unpredictable billing.
- Fixed-scope fees where possible
- No surprise invoices mid-process
- Payment arrangements discussed upfront

What Sets Us Apart
Faraid-Literate Practice
We are one of the few Shah Alam firms to advise comprehensively on both faraid and civil distribution within the same matter. Families do not need two different lawyers for a mixed estate.
Family Dispute Mediation
Before recommending litigation, we always explore whether a mediated outcome is workable. This tends to be faster, less costly, and easier on family relationships.
Plain-Language Will Drafting
Our wills are written to be understood by the family, not just by lawyers. Every clause is explained at the signing meeting, and a copy of the plain-language summary is provided.
Full Administration Service
We handle the entire letters of administration process from start to finish — asset identification, court applications, creditor notifications, and final distribution — so families do not have to manage the process themselves.
